We started beekeeping a few years ago, as a natural step on from our love of gardening, wildlife, ecology and of all things needed to sustain and reinvigorate our native species. We were particularly frustrated with no success artificially pollinating our greenhouse peaches & apricots. A hive was bought and next season we had an amazing crop. We have not looked back.
We now have hives not only around our base in South Cheshire, but helping to pollinate crops on farms and bringing bees back to gardens and meadows in North Staffordshire and North Shropshire.
We also enjoy the challenge of helping new beekeepers set up, whether they just want to adopt a hive, or get involved in its upkeep.
